| How
Do I Become A Christian? |
|
| |
No
matter how many people argue about the finer points of Scripture,
the Bible is clear on what we must do to be saved.
|
| |
Whether
you have a Bible or not, here is what you need to know: |
| |
All
people are sinners. |
|
| |
|
You.
Me. Everyone. Not just some people, or most people. All of us. (Romans 3:23) |
| |
|
Sin
causes spiritual death. |
|
| |
|
|
Heaven
has no place for sinners. Spiritual death is what keeps you
from receiving the Lord's richest blessing and keeps you out
of heaven. (Romans 6:23) |
|
| |
|
Salvation
comes through Jesus. |
|
| |
|
|
You
can't earn salvation by doing 'good deeds'. Calling on the Lord,
asking Him to forgive your sins and accepting Him as your Lord
and Savior, is the only way to eternal salvation. (Romans
10:9) |
|
| |
|
Everyone
can be saved. |
|
| |
|
|
No
if's, and's or but's.
If you want to be saved, you can. Right now. "Everyone
who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans
10:13)

Here
is a suggested prayer of salvation. (Your words may be different.) |
| |
|
"Lord, I recognize that I am a sinner. I'm
sorry for my sins and I want spend the rest of my life as part
of your family, and I want to spend eternity in your house.
I believe you are the Son of God who lived on earth and died
to take away my sins. Take them now, and accept me as one of
your own. Thank you, Jesus. Amen." |
